Everett’s mommy is a long-time friend of mine. I asked her to share a little bit about her life, to accompany the pictures I took of Everett when he was only a few days old.
“Before I was a mom, my life was full and joyful and there was sleeping in, Saturday date nights, lazy Sundays. But life with children; life now…
Sleep is something I dream of, workouts consist of rocking the baby or pacing the hallway, every day is filled with feeding babies and changing diapers.
I can’t say I’m sad to give up that life for this life.
The life with two very young boys is full of laughter, adventures, snuggles, playing in the dirt, discovering new things every day, singing, big blue eyes looking up at you.
Every morning I have a blonde haired boy calling me and he greats me with the biggest smile and says “Morning!”
No, I wouldn’t trade this life. My arms are full, my heart is full. Being a mom taught me how to love fiercely.” -Jolene Lee
